Youth are protesting the lackadaisical stance of the governments of EU countries

The new wave is that the youth are protesting the lackadaisical stance of the governments of EU countries towards climate change. And rightly so, these older generations that make these politics or the lack of them with little regard for the future of the next generation, need a hard kick on the posterior part of their anatomy.

The approach of the governments has been one of selfishness and one that supports the industrialists to make their coffers richer. Why then aren’t there laws and regulations about green cover and real estate? If plastic is bad, why aren’t there regulations curbing the same and why are plastic generating factories not under the scanner? You see, these governments are hypocrites. They shallowly express their concern about climate change but there is no action. And the youth have seen through this hypocrisy. It’s a sad world, as children we were always told to trust the adults, because adults have more experience in life. But sadly adults have undermined this trust.

The children will never look up to these adults again. The time has come for the children to protect their own future. They have to protect their future not from climate change but from the adults who promised to protect it from evil. Turns out that the protector turned out to be the betrayer and the worst destroyer of them all.
