People around the world should pay attention to their governments’ important instructions regarding the deadly coronavirus, and concerned authorities where people work, as precautionary measures.
But unfortunately still people are not taking the instructions by governments seriously (“103-year-old woman survives coronavirus in Iran: Report,” March 20, Gulf Today).
The world is going through its most difficult time due to the killer coronavirus, in this awful and highly tense situation, news about 103-year-old Iranian woman who recovered after being infected with the coronavirus, made our belief more firm in that there is no God but Allah.
The woman was the second elderly patient in Iran to have survived the disease. The other was a 91-year-old man from Kerman, in the southeast of Iran, according to reports.
According to doctors people aged between six and 50 years are more physically capable of fighting the coronavirus than people who are older than 50 years. But the news of a 103-year-old Iranian woman who recovered after being infected with the coronavirus proves that the life is in Allah Almighty’s hands.
A man asked Prophet Muhammad ,Peace Be Upon Him: “O Messenger of Allah should I tie my camel and trust in Allah, or should I leave her untied and trust in Allah?” Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Tie her and trust in Allah.” It clearly shows that we are bound to fulfil our responsibilities first and trust Allah.
In the critical situation of the rapid spread of the COVID-19 in the world we should exercise complete precautionary measures provided by governments and trust Allah Almighty to save us from the coronavirus.
