Coronavirus is all anyone is talking about lately. What else is there to discuss during this crazy time? This week we take a look at some of the famous people who have come down with Covid-19 as they describe their range of symptoms.
The first news of celebrities being infected came from the legendary actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson. The pair had been in Australia for work when they started to feel unwell. They explained that they had body aches and chills with fevers. They spent time in quarantine in an Australian hospital but are now back in the US fully recovered. It’s thought the couple may have contracted the virus in the US or while travelling to Australia.
Sara Bareilles was lucky after catching the virus and only experiencing mild symptoms. The singer, famous for the hit “Love Song” told fans she had a couple of rough days. Singer Pink also got the virus along with her three-year-old son Jameson. She detailed her awful experience watching her child suffer with the virus for three weeks. She explained that people need to realise that no one is safe from this virus, not even children.
Sadly, Grammy singer John Prine lost his life to corona after being hospitalised at the end of March. His wife had been posting updates about his condition while he was in hospital. Unfortunately, he deteriorated after being put on a ventilator while having pneumonia in both lungs. Prine was 73-years-old.
We know that everyone is suffering at the moment while the world battles to fight this awful disease. Remember that you are not alone. Try to keep busy at home and be productive in any way you can. We are all in this together and we will get through it together.
