Well who would have thought it, “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” after 20 seasons, is finally coming to an end. I can hear the whooping in the background of your living room. This week we take a look at how they are still relevant after all this time, thanks to the power of social media.
The show might be coming to an end, but that does not mean we won’t be seeing the Kardashian/Jenner clan. Far from it. Each one of the sisters has managed to carve out her own career away from the TV show, and all using social media platforms. Of course, the matriarch of the family Kris Jenner has been steering her daughters in the right direction.
Kim, the one responsible for the whole Kardashian fame (let’s not go into the reasons why), has brought out everything from make-up to lounge and shape wear. Of course, she is doing extremely well with husband Kanye by her side and I must say I do like her make-up and may have indulged in some loungewear. She is not going anywhere.
Kendall Jenner, Caitlyn’s daughter who used to be her father (another story we will skip for now), is one of the world’s leading models and was the highest paid in 2018. She’s been called an “Instagirl,” a term which other models who haven’t come from fame must surely resent. This term is used to describe Kendall and her model friends who basically became famous through rich parents and social media.
Kylie Jenner, the younger sister of Kendall, seems to be morphing into the new Kim. I don’t think there is a lip filler injections or a fat transfer operation she hasn’t had but look where it has got her. She’s the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, a title which has been debated by the media. Anyway, she is rich and there’s nothing she can’t sell. Read on to find out about the rest of the klan.
