It is October, we should be enjoying the cooler weather, spending more time outside and watching children enjoy Halloween. Unfortunately, instead of watching the “autumn” leaves fall; we still have coronavirus floating about.
So, this week we have decided to bring you a list of the best Halloween TV shows to watch.
One of my favourite shows ever was “Vampire Diaries.” It is so good and don’t think that it’s just for teenagers. The storylines, plot twists and characters have depth. The last season wasn’t the best, which I tend to find with shows which run for a long time and I do feel it lost its touch when Nina Dobrev left towards the end. She held the show together since it was centred around her from the beginning.
Another great one on our list, and the whole team agrees on this, is “The Haunting of Hill House.”
I am not into very spooky shows but this one is really good. I am not going to give away any secrets but if you haven’t watched it, give it a try. I do suggest watching it in the daytime though and definitely not right before bed.
Actress Victoria Pedretti, who is on our Cover this week, is really convincing in it. Fans (me) are currently waiting for the second season which should be out now.
Who hasn’t watched “The Walking Dead?” I must admit that I was late to the zombie party, but once I jumped on the bandwagon, boy did I binge watch. But again, 10 seasons out and I think I stopped at the eighth; I really had enough of the blood and gore.
There’s an 11th season coming out but it has been delayed because of the coronavirus. It has been described by critics as one of the most “iconic zombie TV shows of all time.”
