The need of the hour

It is indeed the need of the hour to think about the challenges of education in the light of COVID-19 and envisioned future practices in education.

Thanks to the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance, which concluded the virtual ‘Hamdan Global Forum for Excellence’, which took place from 18- 22 October, with the participation of a group of world-class educators, specialists and experts along participants from students communities and wider society. (“Forum envisions new horizons of education,” Oct.27, Gulf Today).

Being a resident of UAE, I am very proud of the leadership who called an important and humanitarian conference. It would definitely be helpful to find out more efficient ways to take care of children and youth.

Participants stressed on the need to find alternatives to traditional teaching methods and the importance of continuous evaluation of these alternatives.
