Under the slogan “Realising the opportunities of the 21st Century for All” in the presence of the G20 leaders, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has expressed that this summit is an evidence of the wisdom that humanity has reached over many centuries throughout its history (“We will address global issues unitedly, says VP as G-20 ends,” Nov.23, Gulf Today).
We hope that this wisdom of G20 leaders and the leadership of the UAE will soar to new heights as the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai says that “our interest is in the cooperation, our strength is in the solidarity and that we are all one.”
He expressed the UAE’s aspiration to welcome the G20 leaders during the “Expo 2020-Dubai,” which is scheduled to open in October 2021.
The world is looking forward to the leaders of the 20 biggest economies as they vowed on Sunday to spare no effort to supply COVID-19 drugs, tests and vaccines affordably and fairly to “all people,” reflecting worries that the pandemic could deepen divisions between the world’s rich and poor. Sheikh Mohammed added “the UAE is fully committed to supporting every effort aimed at achieving human interest anywhere, helping humanity to cross into a new phase full of hope in the aftermath of overcoming a pandemic.”
It was held under the presidency of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, under the slogan “Realising the opportunities of the 21st Century for All” in the presence of the G20 leaders.
