The year 2020 was unlike any for the world of cinema. Thanks to the pandemic, there were a lot of films, including the Bond movie “No Time to Die,” Marvel’s “Black Widow” and the long-awaited “Top Gun: Maverick,” whose release dates were delayed to this year. So the year 2021 will be a big one for new releases, much-awaited sequels and beloved remakes.
January will see the release of “Blithe Spirit,” which is based on the play by Noel Coward. Starring Dame Judi Dench, Dan Stevens, Leslie Mann and Isla Fisher, the movie is about a struggling writer who turns to a psychic medium for inspiration, only to accidentally summon the spirit of his dead first wife.
Another one we are most looking forward to is “No Time to Die.” This movie was slated for an April 2020 release but got pushed back an entire year. It will be Daniel Craig’s last one as 007 so it is bound to be a good one.
