I love our version of fall. I know I know, it is far from that idyllic image of crisp brown and orange leaves littering a cold looking cobbled street. But still, I love our autumns! And we picked out some of the freakiest movies of 2020 and 2021 to watch as Halloween rolls around.
The 2020 released “Freaky” stars one of my all-time favourtie actors, Vince Vaughn. The movie is a twist on “Freaky Friday,” the movie centres around a teenage girl, played by Kathryn Newton, who switches bodies with a middle-aged male serial killer played by Vaughn. The film received positive reviews from critics especially for the blend of comedy and horror.
“The Toll” will make you question ever wanting to share a car with a stranger. In the horror movie we see a young passenger played by Jordan Hayes order a ride-share at the airport on her journey to reach her father. Things do not go according to plan and the supernatural element becomes apparent. According to the reviews online, audiences did enjoy this one.
Megan Fox’s role in the upcoming “Till Death” is being touted as her come-back role. Foc plays Emma who is stuck in an unhappy marriage and also having an affair. The husband and wife take a make-or-break trip to save their marriage, but things end up going tragically wrong. Released back in July, this movie has had good reviews already.
In other news this week, turn to our Fitness pages to read all about how to exercise if you have a cold. A case of the sniffles shouldn’t keep you on the couch but you should definitely rethink what you do in terms of the intensity of your workout.
