As we sing — “Are you sleeping, brother John? Morning bells are ringing, morning bells are ringing, ding dong dong” – time for schools in Kerala to reopen full-fledged from the 1st of November. A welcoming decision for all the students in Kerala as they get decked up head to toe after 18 months of indoor learning through various teaching methods.
Reminiscing about my good old days at school this time although those days there was nothing like COVID. Trying to reckon the excitement the students will have after they get back with a big bang fresh-minded, catching up with friends and teachers.
Get your pens, pencils, and books clean with bags polished for another semester. Glad that things in India are getting back to normalcy although there was a huge rise in the number of pandemic cases.
Quite certain the kids out there enjoyed studying online, staying in touch with their tutors. In schools, the plan should include the provision of masks, sanitisers, and social distance adjustments when kids arrive at school as well as things to be observed in vehicles used for transporting children.
More fun and excitement unfolds in school as each of the students will be able to showcase what they have done at home which will bring out a huge impact on today’s teaching and education.
Kids waking up early morning and packing their tiffins while their parents would be busy cooking the last-minute breakfast and lunch might be a bore for some time but you get used to it. Happy Schooling!
