Poor Afghani people are still facing terrorism in their country despite the end of the United States of America’s longest ever war that US fought for almost two decades in Afghanistan (“At least 3 killed, several injured in Afghan mosque blast,” Nov. 13, Gulf Today website).
At least three people were killed and several wounded after an explosion hit a mosque just before Friday prayers in the Spin Ghar district of Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan.
The blast — for which no group has yet claimed responsibility — took place in Afghanistan’s restive Nangarhar province, a hotbed of Daesh activity, officials said. There was no official confirmation of the toll. The terrorist attack in which a couple of people died is highly condemnable.
In a difficult time the world has the responsibility to express solidarity and help Afghanistan new government cope with terrorism and save precious Afghan lives.
