UAE businessman Majid Al Futtaim, owner and founder of Majid Al Futtaim Holding, passed away on Friday, leaving a huge legacy behind. It was indeed shocking to hear about the demise of the legendary businessman.

He was a great business leader who had a very clear vision. He was an inspiration for many UAE businessmen. His efforts in building up private sector and retail business will go a long way in the history of the UAE.

If you look around his contribution to the UAE economy, you will be astonished to see how one man could do so much. His name symbolizes trust, honesty and discipline. Such was his persona and respect he had earned that soon after his demise, flurry of condolence messages started pouring in on social media from every corner of the world.  

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, mourned the death of veteran UAE businessman Majid Al Futtaim. The country is going to miss him for a very long time.
