Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the dearest man whom the world will remember as the loveliest, kindest, and most humble person, left this world with a crystal clear message that being kind to others only makes you a big human being (“South Africa’s conscience and anti-apartheid icon Desmond Tutu passes away.”)
Desmond Tutu was the real driving force behind ending apartheid in South Africa, a worthy human rights activist. He was a real hero and for sure the right person to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
There is no doubt that South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu was a larger than life figure. He devoted his whole life to helping mankind.
He proved himself taking a stance against the mighty powers for people who were facing injustice. His struggle in life showed us that he helped innocent people irrespective of politics, race, religion or culture. He was known to spread love among people living in this planet.
At a time when the world is engaged in many deadly conflicts, and the fear of wars hovering on the horizon, the demise of Desmond Tutu is a huge loss to the world. We need people like him to spread love rather than hate. I want to register my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Desmond Tutu. I would like to end this letter with the beautiful tweet by Tutu’s wife, “We are devastated that the Arch is no longer with us, but his passing has strengthened our resolve to spread his warmth and compassion even further afield.”
