Social media platforms now have become a sort of drama in India. Our celebrities, politicians or sportsmen post one message then another group starts liking or disliking that post and that post become viral and it reaches the prime time of Indian news channels.
I don’t know, is this the only way to grab publicity? Every day we see wars on social media platforms, whether it is debate on the supremacy of Hindi language or the use of loudspeakers at religious places. I see this trend is increasing day by day.
Many of them I am sure do such things to grab the attention of the leading political party of India for their own benefit.
Many of them have succeeded in doing that in the past. I have noticed actors or sportsmen, who are at the fag end of their career, are more into such debates. During their career peak, they hardly entertained news channels with interviews and remained away from the limelight to focus on their career.
Our ‘national heroes’ should remain cautious with their words or action throughout their life. They are loved by millions for their work, irrespective of region, religion or language.
