Indian political strategist Prashant Kishor on Thursday finally revealed his plan — a year to connect with the common people in Bihar before deciding to take any big political step. Kishor will start “padyatra” from Gandhi Ashram in West Champaran from Oct.2 this year and will cover 3,000 km across Bihar to communicate his ideology with the people of the state and take their feedback. I feel he wants to sense what people of Bihar think about the current political situation. PK has been involved in making strategies for different political parties for almost a decade, so now he wants to start a political journey from zero in Bihar.
I feel Prashant will soon plunge into active politics. I feel he should follow the footsteps of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and come up with his own political party. We need people like him to come into active politics. India needs more and more educated people to join politics. And for PK, the time is perfect to plunge into Bihar politics, because the current CM of Bihar Nitish Kumar looks content with his journey, so in a few years’ time he will hang up his boots for sure, then RJD will be the only option left in Bihar. But people of Bihar have less faith in RJD seeing their past, so PK can be a very bankable alternative for the state.
