The people of the UAE are very much excited to know about Mohammed Bin Rashid Library. Dubai has added one more attraction to its huge list. It is one of the most exciting things for us. It will inspire young minds. (“Sheikh Mohammed opens Dhs1 billion ‘Mohammed Bin Rashid Library’ in Dubai,” June 15, Gulf Today online edition.) His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has inaugurated the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, a new cultural beacon in the region.
Built with an investment of Dhs1 billion, the library aims to cultivate a culture of reading, while supporting the development of creativity, knowledge and art at both individual and social levels. It will provide a platform for intellectual, literary and imaginative minds across the region and the world. We all are eagerly waiting to visit the library. I am sure schools will start taking kids to this library after summer break. Children here are very much excited and happy too.
