The way the Ministry of Health and Prevention is working day and night, conducting a huge number of COVID-19 tests to save people from the deadly coronavirus all over the United Arab Emirates, is highly laudable (“UAE registers 1,398 new coronavirus cases, 1 death in 24 hours,” July 20, Gulf Today website).
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced 1,398 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 977,578. The Ministry stressed in a statement on Wednesday that its aim is to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment. As part of its intensified testing campaign, MoHAP announced that it conducted 258,676 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment. From day one the visionary leadership of the United Arab Emirates dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously and took care of its people without any discrimination.
The United Arab Emirates is a mini world. People from different walks of life live together with dignity and respect. I must say people who live in the United Arab Emirates, no matter which country they belong to, get equal treatment and facilities in the country.
