Destination Sharjah

Winter in Sharjah is synonymous with book fair. Like every year, this year too residents of the UAE are looking forward to attend it.  Even I always wait for the moment. It is one of the wonderful events of Sharjah, where we get to meet lots of international authors and celebrities under one roof.

We feel inspired meeting with them. The 41st edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) will start on Nov. 2. The Sharjah Book Authority announced “Spread the word” as the theme of the fair this year. The best part of this event is that it is completely free.

I get to see lots of books and get to meet lots of exhibitors from all across the world. It is very enriching experience. Even lots of schools and colleges make sure to take their children to the book fair. I feel every student should visit at the venue to get a feel of it.
