Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is leading the Bharat Jodo Yatra — a 3,570 km foot march. The footmarch that began in Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari is currently traversing through Kerala and would enter Karnataka by the end of this month. The foot march from Kanyakumari to Kashmir will be completed in 150 days and cover as many as 12 states. The yatra, which aims to cover 25km every day, will pass through Karnataka for 21 days before moving north.
I am sure Rahul himself will get to know more about India. This is a wonderful step taken by Rahul to revive the Congress party. Congress, despite being the oldest Indian political party have lost most of their elections in the recent past. They need to do something to rejuvenate the party. I hope with this mission, Rahul manage to connect with the Indian people and understand their issues. So many veteran Congress leaders have left the party of late is another issue Rahul has to deal with. If Congress wants to stay in the political game, then they need to learn from their mistake as early as possible to move ahead, else they will be forgotten.
