Symbol of success

The Emirati people and the residents of the United Arab Emirates celebrated the Flag Day with enthusiasm and respect which shows the great commitment of the country. There is no doubt that the country’s Flag is the symbol of its unity, strength and future. The way the United Arab Emirates’ nation celebrated Flag Day is exemplary and laudable (“UAE Rulers mark Flag Day with patriotic messages,” Nov.3, Gulf Today website).

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed said, “As people across the UAE join together to raise the flag as one, we reflect on our country’s past and are optimistic for its future. The UAE people are united by a shared sense of national pride and a steadfast belief in the next generation who will lead our continued progress.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, also shared patriotic messages.

Sheikh Mohammed said on Twitter, “Today, we raised the flag of the UAE with a group of Emirati sons, who represent part of our future. A day on which we inculcate loyalty and belonging in our generations, celebrate the symbol of our sovereignty and pride, and reiterate our pride in our unity and union. May God protect our flag, our country and our people.” His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, stressed that the country’s Flag is the symbol of its unity, strength and future.

The United Arab Emirates’ nation is a nation full of blessings. All credit goes to the visionary leadership of the United Arab Emirates who always work hard for their bright future and make the country proud in the world. The Emirati nation is a byword for honour and dignity.

I would like to congratulate the visionary leadership of the United Arab Emirates and their nation on their love and patriotism on Flag Day.
