The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) once again scripted a record victory in the Gujarat Assembly elections and returned to power for the seventh straight term. This is indeed a moment of celebration for the party. Despite ruling the state for so many years, they still have the trust of the people. No other political party like the Congress or AAP managed to come even closer to BJP. This clearly shows how the BJP is winning elections back to back.
Opposition parties should learn from the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Since the time Modi has became PM, BJP’s performance in the assembly elections also improved by leaps and bounds. Rather than criticising the BJP, the opposition should learn from his statesmanship. I am sure BJP workers must be working hard under the wise leadership of the prime minister. On the other side Congress really lacks leadership, while Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP needs time to become a national party. AAP is doing well but needs time to grow.
