India bowled out Bangladesh in the second innings on Sunday to seal a 188-run win in the first Test in Chittagong and take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series. Shakib Al Hasan scored 84 runs as Bangladesh, chasing a colossal target of 523 runs, put up stiff resistance but finally were all out for 324 an hour into day five. The second Test for the series will begin at Dhaka on December 22 but Bangladesh has disappointed once again. As we all know, Bangladesh have been playing cricket for a very long time but they have never managed to create their own brand. So many great players came and went but the team have never been able to get a respectable status. I don’t know why they have not been able to become a force to reckon with. Despite the fact that they have a great domestic setup. So many young players are coming from junior cricket and joining the national team but they have failed to create an impact. I feel they need to change their mindset. They have shown brilliance but in patches and that’s why they have never been able to create a brand for themselves.
