Believe it or not

We all are waiting for 2023 to come. The time has come to say goodbye to 2022. The year 2022 was very good for all of us. We have seen lots of growth and development in the UAE. The UAE managed to handle the Covid-19 menace very effectively and efficiently. Life has returned to normalcy for all of us. Schools and colleges started taking in-person classes and kids returned to parks. International travelling had become a reality after a long gap.

Since we are waiting for 2023, I remember during pre-digital and pre-internet time, we would eagerly wait for the newspapers to get a copy of the annual calendar. We would try to get as many as newspapers as possible to get many calendars. Calendars used to be a great attraction for us during the 90s.

Everybody would grab a Jan.1 newspaper just for a calendar. But these days nobody wants calendars. Nobody even talks about it.  Everything is now on the phone or computer. A desk or wall calendar has become a thing of the past.  Things have changed completely in this digital era. For people like us who has seen both the worlds feel nostalgic about it even today.
