The 8th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is turning out to be very interesting. Fans are going to the stadium and enjoying every game. They are getting to see interesting nail-biting matches. Teams like Lahore Qalandars, Islamabaad United, Multan Sultans have done exceptionally well so far. They deserve praise for their captaincy and teamwork, but on the other side Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings have failed miserably to create an impact this year. Karachi and Quetta lacked skill to win matches. Both the teams have played good cricket but lacked planning, which is required to win matches.
Those who are blaming Imad Wasim and Sarfaraz Ahmed for the team’s bad performance are wrong. Cricket is a team game and one individual can’t do anything. The whole team has to perform to win matches and that’s why in franchise league, every team does lots of team building session before they hit the ground actually. I am sure both the teams will learn from their mistakes this year and will return next year much stronger. I am sure Karachi and Quetta will bounce back next year.
