The month of blessing, the Holy month of Ramadan heading towards its end as the United Arab Emirates announced Eid Al Fitr holidays for federal entities in the UAE that will begin on 29th Ramadan until 3rd Shawwal 1444 H (“UAE announces Eid Al Fitr holidays for government, private sector employees,” April 13, Gulf Today website).
According to the report, the UAE’s moon-sighting committee will convene on the night Ramadan 29 to confirm the dates of Eid. The first day of Eid Al Fitr is expected to fall on Friday, April 21, in most Islamic countries, according to the International Astronomical Centre.
On the occasion, the Authority conveyed its congratulations to the UAE leadership, government and people and to the Arab and Islamic nations around the world.
People will have Eid holidays to meet their families, friends and spend quality time with their elders. I would like to congratulate and advance Eid Mubarak to the people of the United Arab Emirates.
