I have been following this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) very religiously. No doubt the IPL is the most competitive league in the world. It has world-class players. What I like the most is the fitness and consistency of Australian players. I have found them the best in the lot.
Whether we look at Marcus Stoinis, David Warner, Adam Zampa, Glenn Maxwell or Cameroon Green, they are all very committed on the field and are very disciplined. I love their approach towards the game. Whether they play for their country or franchise they always give their best. No wonder they are welcome everywhere. I hope young Indian players can learn from them. This is a wonderful opportunity for uncapped Indian players to observe the best players in the IPL and learn from them.
I feel Indian players are indeed fortunate to have such a fantastic league where they get a chance to play and learn with the best players. I really appreciate the BCCI for managing the IPL so well and keeping the brand intact. In fact, with each passing year, it is growing bigger and bigger.
