Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman scored a magnificent unbeaten 180, his third century in his last three one-day internationals, to fire the hosts to a seven-wicket victory over New Zealand and a 2-0 lead in the series on Saturday. This is what we expect from Fakhar. He is one of the most destructive batters in the world at the moment. It is wonderful to see him in such good form. He has always impressed with his performances, it was only for some time that he had lost his form, which is natural for any player. Every international player goes through a lull period, but they all bounce back.
I am sure Fakhar’s coming into form will help his team during the upcoming World Cup. I am a big fan of Fakhar’s style of batting. He reminds me of the legendary Saeed Anwar and Virendra Sehwag. He does not take time to get going and once he gets going then no one can stop him. He takes the game till the end and he has the potential to finish the match. This is the beauty of Fakhar.
