Role model

Thanks for being with me and guiding me through many stages in life. All that I thought of were those nostalgic moments I had from my childhood. He still plays the role of a father and I have learned immensely. When we used to get spare time, we would sit and talk to him about life and how he was when he was a teenager. A special gift for me and a blessing to have him.

These days new fathers living in the modern era spend time on the internet, socialising with their friends, flora, and fauna but hardly spend time talking to their loved ones. He did what he could in bringing me up although I was a bit overprotected and spoonfed living in Dubai all my life.

I doubt whether I would have been able to reach this stage without him. Our young bubbly teens have lots to learn from fathers as they have passed through stages in life doing things the hard way unlike the youth today who have everything available in every nook and corner living in their comfort zone.

Thanks for his patience and kindness for being so humble with people around me. All that I can say is a big thank you for loving me, dad. Happy Father’s Day.
