I am sure the Indian team management must be worried about the poor performance by the Indian team. Something is wrong with the team for sure at the moment. They have lost two T20 matches against the West Indies, which is indeed shocking. None of the Indian players barring newly inducted Tilak Verma managed to perform.
Tilak has shown the right temperament. Hope he goes ahead with the same speed and maintains his consistency. I don’t know what went wrong with the Indian team. I am sure head coach Rahul Dravid and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma might be watching it closely and thinking for a solution before the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup begins. It seems the Indian management are trying to find their best players for the big day, that’s why they are experimenting with young guns. Many young and talented players are playing in the West Indies, while senior players like Rohit and Virat Kohli are resting.
Let’s see how it goes from here. I also feel sad for players like Sanju Samson, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Shubham Gill, who had the opportunity to create a place for themselves but they are constantly disappointing with their performances. In fact, it was an opportunity for them to rise and grab a place for the World Cup but they are constantly failing. I hope these players wake up as early as possible.
