Bollywood star Salman Khan has completed 35 years in Hindi cinema. To celebrate his 35 years in the industry, Salman Khan Films posted a video montage detailing his journey. This included clips from some of his iconic films such as “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya,” “Wanted,” “Dabangg,” “Sultan,” “Bodyguard” and “Ek Tha Tiger” featuring some of his best known dialogues and clips of the most iconic tracks. The “Dabangg” star marked his journey into Bollywood with the film “Biwi Ho To Aisi” in 1988 in a supporting role, and then he landed first leading role in the film “Maine Pyaar Kiya,” which became a blockbuster and established him as a star. He then went on to do “Karan Arjun,” “Hum Apke Hain Kaun?” “Hum Saath-Saath Hain,” “Biwi No.1” and “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.” He continued to make greater strides with “Bodyguard,” “Dabangg,” “Ek Tha Tiger,” “Wanted, ” “Kick” and “Bajrangi Bhaijaan.”
I feel he is the most intelligent actor Bollywood has, because he was loved as a romantic hero and has immense followers but he shifted his gear from “Wanted” and started working in his kind of cinema. The way he has shifted his gear shows his understanding of his cinema, while many of Bollywood stayed with their old form, but had to taste failure, but Salman knows what the audience wants and he does accordingly. That’s why his charm has not at all waned even after 35 years.
