To scale the world’s highest peak all over the world has always remained a passion and dream of mountaineers and they go after their passion and dream with all the courage (“Pakistani couple makes history, scales world’s eighth highest peak in Nepal,” Sept.25, Gulf Today website).
According to a report, in a historic feat, a Lahore-based husband-wife Ahmed Uzair and Anum Uzair have etched their names in the annals of mountaineering as the first Pakistani couple to reach the summit of Mount Manaslu. Accompanied by a team of three Sherpas, the husband-and-wife adventurers achieved this remarkable milestone on a glorious Sunday, as confirmed by Seven Summit Treks, the organisers of the expedition.
I would like to congratulate a Lahore-based husband-wife Ahmed Uzair and Anum Uzair on their successful attempt to scale the summit of Mount Manaslu.
