It’s a season of rain and cool weather as the world is enjoying the month of November. Rain brings joy and happiness on the faces of the United Arab Emirates residents and tourists who love to enjoy their best time with their family and friends (“Heavy rain hits parts of UAE, lowest temperature recorded at 11.5°C,” Nov.7, Gulf Today website).
According to the report, heavy rain with hail continued falling on separate areas across the country due to the unstable weather conditions that are likely to end on Wednesday. Heavy rain fell on Shakhbout, Madinat Al Riyadh, Al Ajban-Sweihan Road, Al Samha, Al Saadiyat Island, Al Saad, Remah and other areas in Abu Dhabi, and also on Al Rawdha Road in Al Ain. The lowest temperature of 11.8°C was recorded for the third successive day at 03.30 UAE local time. Jebel Mebrah recorded 14.7°C, while Jebel Al Rahba recorded 14.9°C, Rakna in Al Ain City 15.3 degrees Celsius and Damtha 17°C.
After the hottest spell of the summer season, the cool days of winter emerged with the moderate and heavy rain in the UAE. According to the National Centre of Meteorology, rainy weather will continue for a couple of days so it’s important for the motorists to show responsibility while driving their vehicle to avoid any ill-fated incidents on the busy roads and highways. I hope people will be alert and careful while driving their vehicles during the rainy season.
