Important meeting

The world has come united to address the burning issue of climate change which has gradually affected every segment of life and is the biggest threat to the existence of the world (“Leaders at COP28 outline plans to curb heat-trapping emissions,” Dec.2, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, a critical climate conference that began with world leaders acknowledging an Earth in crisis was set for a second day of leaders’ speeches on Saturday that organisers hope will set the stage for concrete action in coming days.

The annual United Nations conference, known as COP28, will surely bring a solid mechanism to deal with climate disaster and efforts to make the environment clean. The world has witnessed unusual heavy rain, flooding and the disastrous heat waves in many parts which killed hundreds of innocent lives.

A critical climate conference will definitely pave the way to for a clean, safe and secure world.
