Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urged parents not to treat their children’s report cards as their visiting cards and suggested that students should compete with themselves and not others. He also called for reducing screen time through “no-gadget zones in the house” and “no gadgets during dinner” rules to achieve tech-life balance.
Modi was speaking at the annual “Pariksha Pe Charcha” programme. I really appreciate our prime minister for interacting with children and sharing words of wisdom with them. I am sure these inspiring words will help children in the long run. People look at our PM as a role model and such wonderful advice coming from him is indeed great.
I really appreciate Modi for taking his time out from his hectic schedule to meet children. As we know, children are our future and investing in them will take India ahead in the race. I also remember I had met with my chief minister while I was in school during the early 90s, and interaction with him kept me motivated for many years.
