Ramadan is the most-loved and blessed month for Muslim Ummah around the world and it brings happiness and joy on the faces of all Muslims (“2-hour-reduction of working hours during Ramadan in UAE begins from Monday,” March 10, Gulf Today website).
According to the report, the number of work hours has been be reduced by two during the Holy Month of Ramadan, and the decree was put into effect as of Monday (11 March, 2024), according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE). Companies have the option to follow flexible or remote work schedules within the limits of daily working hours during Ramadan, and in accordance with the nature of work.
It’s a highly laudable decision by the United Arab Emirates’ government announcing 2-hour-reduction of working hours during Ramadan in the UAE begins from Monday.
In the month of Ramadan, people perform special prayers and fast the whole month from dawn to dusk. Two-hour-reduction of working hours during the month of Ramadan will allow people to perform their religious rituals and spend quality time with their families.
