Pakistan Super League (PSL) is almost in its final stage. Teams like Multan Sultan and Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United have qualified to go ahead from the league stage, while two-time champions Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings have failed to qualify. Karachi since the inception of the PSL has failed to get going, despite having a balance side but Lahore this year failed to perform. So many people are objecting the way Shaheen Shah Afridi led his team. Shaheen is too young to learn to lead his side. I am sure he will come stronger next year.
I am very impressed with the other teams. They all performed very well. They have learnt from their mistakes quickly and bounced back. I appreciate Rizwan for leading his team from the front. He was in good form and contributed with his bat. Even Shadab Khan did very well this year again and led his team from the front. He was out of form before the PSL but Shadab looked in great form during the tournament. This shows he has really worked hard in his fitness and skill. He looked great with the bat and ball. Another star batter Babar Azam too looked solid. Like always he performed well. He has been very consistent with his bat even his captaincy was better this year. Let’s see which team is going to lift the trophy. I am sure now competition will be tough for everyone.
