Law for all

No one is above the law or are they? Ex-president Donald Trump is trying to claim immunity from prosecution, basically as a job benefit. If he gets his old job back he can Pardon himself from any federal matter although this has never been tested.

He also believes that those who support him are above the law and he will free convicted criminals (“Trump pledges to free US Capitol rioters if reelected,” Mar. 13) when he becomes president. Almost all people obey their countries laws and those that are part of their faith and that is right so why is one person willing to ignore the usual conventions of law.
