Kudos to RCB, especially Virat Kohli and Will Jacks, who had the will to chase 200 runs scored by the Gujarat Giants to win the tie by 9 wickets, that too in just 16 overs to be in race for a playoff place. It was really vintage cricket at Ahmedabad, first by Sai Sundershan of GT, the emerging player, whose unbeaten 84 saved the day for Gill and set a target of 201. But for the valuable partnership of Sai Sudarshan with Shahrukh Khan, their plight would have been worse. It seems the captaincy is weighing on Shubham Gill, who is struggling to score runs during this IPL season. This may prove to be a drawback for Gill to get a place in the T-20 World Cup squad.
