Hats off to the visionary leadership of the nation who made it possible for a 12-truck UAE convoy carrying 264 tonnes of aid to Gaza via the Egyptian Rafah crossing as part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” to support and relieve the Palestinian people during their current circumstances (“UAE’s 12-truck convoy carrying 264 tonnes of aid enters Gaza,” May 3, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, the convoy consists of 12 trucks carrying over 264 tonnes of humanitarian aid, including food, water and dates. As of 1st May 2024, the Emirati aid provided to the Palestinian people through “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” exceeded 22,436 tonnes. The extent of hard times Palestinian brothers and sisters are facing right now is indescribable.

It’s the time Muslim Ummah should support them with open hearts and ultimate generosity. The Muslim world should follow the generosity and brotherhood of the United Arab Emirates and should play its vital role in helping their brothers and sisters in Gaza.
