Great effort

I am new to Sharjah. I have completed few months only. I want to share my observation through your esteemed newspaper. As we all know, on April 16, it rained badly in the UAE. In fact, few areas of Sharjah was submerged in water for few days. I got little worried about it but in no time I saw Sharjah Police, Sharjah Municipality, and other government departments officials on the road.

They all started working for the betterment of residents. They all were on the toes throughout the week to guide us. Many volunteers started knocking the door with food and water.  Even few supermarket started working. I was amazed to see the way Sharjah started getting back to normalcy. I have never seen such service by government officials anywhere in the world.
