Summer season is upon us and with that comes a whole slew of new movies hitting the cinema. This week we are taking a look at some of the most interesting films that are due to come out over the next few days, weeks and months.
I am no superhero movie fan so I was relieved to see that there aren’t many movies from the genre on the list. There are however plenty of sequels, reboots and the odd prequel or two. There are also several great movies coming out that don’t involve a franchise.
“The Crow” is a remake of a 1994 comic book adaptation which starred Brandon Lee. Bill Skarsgård takes the title role in the film which tells the story of man who is killed by thugs and then comes back to avenge his partner’s death. That sounds pretty heavy doesn’t it? The partner is played by FKA Twigs and Rupert Sanders directs.
Who doesn’t love a good romantic comedy? They’re just so lighthearted and make for such easy viewing. “Fly Me to the Moon” sees Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum pair up to play space experts who are brought together on a project by NASA. As with most romcoms, the plot looks pretty predictable, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t going to be good.
In other news this week turn to our Fitness pages to read a reminder about how good yoga is for your body and mind. I feel that most people are aware of the benefits of yoga but not many have actully tried it. Book a class with a qualified instructor and thank us later.
