No one can beat the generosity of the United Arab Emirates in the world when it comes to helping needy people in their difficult time, and once again the United Arab Emirates showed its humanitarian will with sending first relief plane full of food for its flood-hit Brazilian brothers and sisters (“UAE flies first relief plane for flood-hit victims in Brazil,” May18, Gulf Today website).
According to the report, the UAE on Saturday sent the first relief plane carrying 100 tonnes of food, medical and relief aid to help the victims of the floods and heavy rains that recently swept Brazil. The plane has been dispatched under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Reem Bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, said that the UAE’s robust monitoring systems track a wide range of natural disasters, including floods and their aftermath.
I would like to appeal to the world to help its flood-hit Brazilian brothers and sisters because they need your help and assistance.
The kind and generous leadership of the United Arab Emirates believes in humanitarian and brotherhood work without any discrimination and always reaches urgent to needy people all over the world with generous help.
