In wars, thousands of children, women and men are killed and houses destroyed. The exercise, often executed in the name of seeking justice, involves nothing but the decimation of human beings by human beings, yet we are never tired of calling ourselves civilised. It is a well-planned action that thrives on spilling the blood of the cornered by the privileged, yet we are never tired of calling ourselves victorious at the end of the exercise and detest being criticised for the inhuman pursuit.
Well, some cornered people refuse to be treated as petty pushovers, which can be safely sourced to their golden past, consisting of an unquestionably rich history and an unbending faith that not very long ago got the satanic by their neck and kept them wrenched till they put out the white flag. It is true, they are being hammered today, but they refuse to be riveted. They are relentlessly using their bodies to protect their honour.
They are relentlessly using their bodies to protect their honour.
By way of support they have their history, their spirits and the Creator whose blessings they seek several times through days and nights as the photo shows.
The picture establishes two things. First, no matter how hard the ethically castrated and the cruel try to defeat belief they cannot. Its invincibility is invincible.
Secondly, if some attackers feel that bringing down places of worship weakens their rivals then they are wrong. The rows of believers can be seen prostrating in front of a damaged place of worship. Why? Simple, Islam is too strong and wasn’t a laboured act of masonry. It was born of conviction and when conviction plays girders the structure turns rock solid. And rocks of commitment don’t fear the chicken hearted who pick on children, often cancerous, and their mothers, often pregnant.
Let’s hope the attackers see reason and peace returns to the bloodied land.
