Hats off to the United Arab Emirates leadership which is playing a vital role to save human lives during the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine (“UAE mediation efforts succeed with new exchange of 150 captives between Russia and Ukraine,” June 1, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the success of mediation efforts by the UAE regarding the new exchange of war captives between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Ukraine to release 150 captives. The Ministry emphasised that the success of the mediation, which is the fourth since the beginning of this year, is the outcome of the UAE leveraging its distinct relations between both sides to reach this agreement.

It’s totally humanitarian efforts by the United Arab Emirates during the war between Russia and Ukraine in which many people are getting a new lease of life.

The world has to follow the sincere work done by the UAE authorities to bring happiness to the families of warring countries Russia and Ukraine.

The war only produces destruction and misery. There’s nothing impossible to achieve in this world, if there’s a will, there’s a way. I hope the warring countries with the help of the international community start peace talks as soon as possible and solve their outstanding disputes once and for all so people will start living their lives with respect and dignity.
