The match between Pakistan and India, during their pool tie of T-20 World Cup tournament in USA, was a real thriller, even better than Hitchcock movies. When our Men in Blue were bundled out for just 119 runs by the Pakistani bowlers, it was total advantage for their team to win against India.
Alas, Bumrah and his boys had different ideas and they proved that they are not easy meat for Pakistan. They also bowled vigorously and restricted the Pakistan team to just 113 for 7 in the allotted 20 overs.
The game could have gone in either way. But our bowlers proved to be stingy and our fielding and catching was excellent. At the same, the form of our batsmen, especially the top order, is a real worry. Since Dube & Jadeja, who have failed continuously, since their inclusion in the T-20 WC squad, we feel both could be dropped.
In their place Yeshashwi Jaiswal and Kuldeep Yadav may be included. If so, Jaiswal could open with Rohit Sharma to give a left-right opening pair and Kohli could return to his usual No.3, where he is comfortable and always shines. Jadeja cannot hold on to his place just for his fielding. If necessary he can be the 12th man.
