The Emmy Awards, or the Emmys as they are more commonly known, take place every year. This week we are taking a look at some of the early predictions for comedy series nominations.
The comedy show “Abbott Elementary” is no stranger to the Emmys having been nominated and even winning in previous years. For its first two seasons “Abbott Elementary” was nominated for 11 awards and won three out of them. The show has just wrapped its third season and will no doubt be a serious contender for several more awards.
Another show that is very familiar with nominations and winning awards is “Only Murders in the Building.” If someone had told me about the plot of this series and the actors involved, I would have said that it would never be a recipe for success. But this show and its actors Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez have proved all the critics wrong. They have won five Emmys for their three seasons and if they stay on the same track the fourth season will do just as well.
In other news this week, turn to our Nutrition pages to read about apple cider vinegar and its benefits. An extremely popular “cure all” drink, apple cider vinegar has long been used for a variety of reasons. Some people claim it aids in weight loss and that drinking a teaspoon or two diluted in water twenty minutes before a meal helps to balance glucose levels.
