An unfortunate incident of a massive fire in a Kuwait building resulted in the deaths of dozens of innocent people and it also injured a number of people (“Over 40 killed, dozens injured in massive Kuwait building fire,” June13, Gulf Today website).
According to another report in a section of the Indian media, 43 people were killed in the blaze. Among them 24 were from Kerala state of India, the report adds.
The Director General of Forensic Evidence, Major General Eid Al Oweihan, has stated that the number of fatalities at the scene of the fire, which broke out in the Mangaf area of the city, has reached 49.
Additionally, injured individuals were transported to medical facilities, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
It’s so sad that the tragedy happened just days before Eid Al Adha.I am sure the Kuwaiti government will not leave any stone unturned to provide the best health facility to injured people and will compensate the families of Kuwait fire victims. We all are with the bereaved families in this hour of despair and pray to Almighty to provide them solace.
