Eye-opening report

The UN refugee agency report regarding a record 120 million people who are forcibly displaced globally is an eye-opening story the world must help vulnerable people who are looking for help (“Record 120 million people forcibly displaced globally, says UN refugee agency,” June15, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, a staggering total of 120 million people are living forcibly displaced by war, violence and persecution, the UN said on Thursday, branding the ever-increasing number a “terrible indictment on the state of the world”. The United Nations’ refugee agency UNHCR said forced displacement globally had once again smashed records, with conflicts in places like Gaza, Sudan and Myanmar forcing even more people to flee their homes.

War only produces misery and destruction. The world needs peace. Nothing is impossible in this world, if there’s a will, there is a way. I am sure the world leaders have the wisdom to solve problems between the countries peacefully.

I hope the sense of peace will prevail and people around the world live their life with dignity and prosperity.
