Times have changed

I was imploring my Mrs. for holidays in July next just like others. We all have watched the series Home Alone 2. This is what is going through my wits now. It’s never extinct so we plan to do something exclusive. On time with heads up given on what to carry and what to check in for the smooth transition and ease of the security check there are many excited.

As temperatures are soaring high more and more families, couples and kids are heading back as schools are shut. I have not reached there as my itinerary plans are usually in September, the time when schools reopen and kids get back.

This is the time though I reminisce about my school days when we used to have two full-fledged months to enjoy, take a nap although I personally was not overburdened with loads of projects, case studies. It was just not the end of the world for me.

We never had so many malls, nor smartphones to fiddle and fickle so most of us would call our friends, playing 7 tiles, catching cook, and how can I skip my all-time favourite badminton being the victor. Times have changed. At times we won’t get such days so my advice will be to take such occasions in stride and take a nap. Like me raised in UAE all my life I am somewhat used to the fact that it’s stuffy.
