The Paris Olympics are all people are talking about over the last week. It really is the highlight of this hot summer to be able to watch all these amazing sports on TV.
While football is not the first sport that comes to mind when we think of the Olympics, it is very much an exciting one to follow. There are several big names playing on both the men and women’s teams. Those names include 19-year-old Columbian star Linda Caicedo whose brilliant performance at the World Cup last year saw her earn a spot at Real Madrid.
In non-sport related news, turn to our Music pages to read about Katy Perry’s failing comeback. Perry has had a lot of negative media attention over the last year. While she hasn’t been making music, she has been a regular on “American Idol” where she was a judge. Overexposure is not always the best thing for an artist’s career. She seems to be in the same boat as J-Lo right now who the public has also taken a disliking to after her movie “This is Me... Now: A Love Story.”
